Details

DCO

The U-NO-60 has three analog modelled oscillators, that uses the minBLEP technique for bandlimiting. A square with pulse with modulation, a saw, a square sub oscillator and a noise generator. The sub oscillator plays 12 halftones deeper.

The pulse with of the square oscillator can be modulated with the LFO or with the envelope. LFO modulates the pitch of all oscillators.

VCF

A 24dB lowpass filter. The filter has  asymmetric components in the corner feedback to get a warm second order distortion. This one is also oversampled by a factor of two. Also a 6dB high pass filter is available.

It's possible to switch the filter polarity. The filter can be modulated by the envelope, LFO and key follow.

LFO

Two LFO's that can be triggered to the note on events with trigger mode auto. The LFO's has the folloing properties:
  • Waveforms: sine, triangle, saw, rectangle, noise
  • Sync to host (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1/1, 2/1, 1/16T, 1/8T, 1/4T, 1/2T, 1/1T, 2/1T)
  • Delay time

ENV

The envelope follower has non linear analog like envelopes and can also handle very short decay times.

The VCA section controlls the mode of the amplifier and the volume. The gate mode disables the volume envelope.

CONTROL
  • Adjust the relation between velocity and filter envelope intensity
  • Smooth cutoff changes (this is useful, because a midi controller has only 127 values)

Master controlls

The master controlls controlls the volume, tune, transpose and pitch wheel modulation.
  • DCO: intensity of the pitch wheel to the DCO section
  • VCF: intensity of the pitch wheel to the filter cutoff
  • TUNE: global synth tune
  • VOLUME: global volume
  • TRANSPOSE: octave shift (-12, 0, +12)
  • MIDI LEARN

Midi learn

Just click the midi learn button in the bottom right corner and do following:
  1. change a U-NO-60 poti value with the mouse
  2. move en extern hardware poti
  3. disable midi learn or make the next mapping
The mapping will also be saved in the preset.
